Salt Sisters
This month we will be featuring our partner S.A.L.T. Sisters and as with our other business partners
we prefer to let them speak for themselves.
Before we go to that, we did want to share some general information about salt in a person’s diet.
While it can negatively affect a person’s health to have too much of any kind of salt in their diet,
processed salt’s do not contain the minerals that unprocessed sea salts have such as: magnesium,
calcium, and potassium. Many table salts add iodine which is essential for good health but can also
be found in foods such as eggs, diary, and seafood. So, while moderation is always the key, salt is a
necessary part of a healthy diet.
Here is a little information about S.A.L.T. Sisters and the founder Charmane Andrews Skillen:
