Spicy Steak Fajitas

Bold, smoky, and packed with vibrant grilled peppers and onions, these steak fajitas are infused with rich Baklouti Fused Olive Oil for a flavorful kick. Perfect for casual entertaining or an easy weeknight dinner hot off the grill.

Ingredients:

For the Steak

  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron steak
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Baklouti Green Pepper Olive Oil

For the Peppers & Onions

  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Baklouti Green Pepper Olive Oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For Serving

  • 1 package wheat flour tortillas

Optional: shredded lettuce, guacamole, sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper. Season the steak evenly with the spice mixture.
  2. Brush both sides of the steak with Baklouti Green Pepper Olive Oil. Place on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. While the steak cooks, toss the bell peppers and onion with the remaining Baklouti Green Pepper Olive Oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grill the peppers and onions, turning occasionally, until tender and lightly charred, about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Thinly slice the steak against the grain. Toss together with the grilled peppers and onions.
  6. Warm the tortillas until soft. Fill with steak and vegetables, add lettuce if desired, and serve with guacamole and sour cream.
