Goat Cheese Wonton Cups with Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil

These crispy, golden bites are filled with a creamy goat cheese mixture enhanced by the bright, herbaceous flavor of Olive Amelia’s Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil. Baked in wonton cups and paired with sweet or tangy dips, they’re a deliciously simple appetizer or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz goat cheese, room temperature
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Amelia Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Chives, thinly sliced
  • 1 pack wonton wrappers
  • Olive Amelia Sicilian Lemon Balsamic, honey, honey mustard, or sweet & sour sauce (for dipping)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese, Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil, salt, pepper, and chives. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
  3. Using a cupcake or muffin tin, press one wonton wrapper into each cup to form a base.
  4. Spoon a dollop of the goat cheese mixture into the center of each wonton.
  5. Drizzle the filled wontons lightly with additional olive oil.
  6. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce—Olive Amelia Sicilian Lemon Balsamic, honey, honey mustard, or a sweet & sour sauce.
